Rough Week

My friend and fellow blogger at the High Plains Flyfisher has a quote atop his page which reads: "The solution to any problem--work, love, money, whatever--is to go fishing, the worse the problem the longer the trip should be." Well friends it has been rough week for me and so I took up his advice, well in part. I wasn't able to be out long, only 45 min but it did ease my soul a bit. Hooked into two, lost one. Both on a grub fly pattern which works well on stockers around here.

I can't think of a better way to relieve stress and the routine of work than fly fishing. Yes the grub is an excellent pattern here as well for stockers. thanks for sharing

Thanks Bill. Just one of those weeks but was lucky to be able to spend some time on the water, however brief.

Doesn't matter if it's an hour or six, it's all good.

Kind of funny but I just made a post some what related to this. Fish does cure quite a bit.

The serenity that fly fishing brings, or for that matter any type of fishing, is a precious resource. As long as we have fish to fish for, then there will be serenity!
