Where the Wild Fish Are: Video Short

Friday, December 19, 2014 , , 10 Comments

On days I cannot fish or be outdoors, an outdoor video short is generally a good way to put a smile on my face. As such I am going to begin posting a few videos from time to time that I really enjoy and think you guys will as well. I hope some make you reflect, some inspire, and others laugh. To begin, here is one of my favorites entitled, "Where the Wild Fish Are" from Bobby Foster on Vimeo. Enjoy.

I'm not a fishing snob, but I do love wild fish, especially trout. They just tend to live in such beautiful places that it makes the entire experience more enjoyable...well, except the fear of bears...or moose...or whatever. That said, I won't say no to a slob stocker if presented the opportunity.

Michael, I am with you. I think I lost all if any fish snobbery when I started fishing for Carp, Gar and other fish certain people label "trash fish". However, wild fish does have a certain allure and always will. I think you nailed it on the head when you note that they tend to live in such beautiful places.

Fantastic video. I'm not sure if I just wasn't paying attention... but did they say where this video was filmed? that's some gorgeous water!

They didn't say but if I had to guess it would be somewhere in Washington, maybe Olympic. But that's just a guess.
